Family, Kate

A Lot to Say

Kate does not like the idea of someone else having the spotlight…she would rather just keep going (and going and going…). I hope you giggle your way through this…I just figured out my camera can do video and I captured this yesterday. Abby is on the left, Ellie in the middle, and Kate, well, you will know which one Kate is.

I have many other things to post.  I had a very eventful day on Tuesday…we are still processing. When I can find the words, I would love to post about the day and ask for your prayer.  I will try to do it later this evening.
For now, enjoy:)  You might want to pause the music so you can hear it…but don’t expect to understand too much of it….
Ang

LOVE all three of the girls! Abby and Ellie are so patient with Kate.

In our family, I’m Kate, and even at the age of 41, my sisters are still wanting to cover my mouth to shut me up.

Thanks for the laughter that you brought to my day!

I am cracking up right now! Ellie ws totally cracking me up with her expressions!

They act as if they’re used to Kate doing lots of talking. How sweet that Ellie waited as long as she did to cover Kate’s mouth. I like how when you had just Ellie and Abby in the picture that they were just looking at the camera. I would like to know what they were thinking.

    Great stuff,I loved it!

BTW, tell Todd that my husband and I really enjoyed the concert on Good Friday. I will never forget him singing “Were You There” — absolutely awesome.
They were so sweet to sign my scrapbook page from the cruise, too. I am also glad that at least THEY enjoyed the snow and ice! I’m getting a little tired of it myself! ๐Ÿ™‚

    Praying for you often,
    Darlene

I can’t believe how patient Kate’s sister’s were with her babbling like that! I have no idea what she was saying — aside from the potty!– but I have a feeling the girls didn’t think it was all that earth- shattering! Too funny! :o)

  • Reply Anonymous March 27, 2008 at 7:55 pm

I went to the Selah site tonight just to see what new stuff might be going on. Wow! I have laughed, cried, laughed, cried, etc., since clicking the link on the Prayer for Todd and Angie Smith page for this blog. My prayers go out to you and Todd, Abby, Ellie, and Kate, and to the rest of your family during this time. After reading your blog, this verse comes to mind, which I believe you are living out:

Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding. Proverbs 3:5

I look forward reading more as you post and after hearing “I Surrender All”, I will wait patiently for Todd’s cd release.

    Lifting you up in prayer!

I’m sure 50 people have already said this, but you should totally send this into Funniest Home Videos! Soooo Funny!
Actually it was also a testimony to my mother-in-law. She is not a believer. And she has been asking us about how we discipline our kids. She has a 8 month old baby girl. She said about your girls, “You can tell they are taught not to interrupt.” Thanks for letting your girls shine light in the darkness.

Actually it was also a testimony to my mother-in-law. She is not a believer. And she has been asking us about how we discipline our kids. She has a 8 month old baby girl. She said about your girls, “You can tell they are taught not to interrupt.” Thanks for letting your girls shine light in the darkness.

I cracked up on the look that was exchanged by the two older girls – it was such an older sister look. Then the ending was GREAT!

Thanks for sharing with us. BTW I have lifted many prayers for you and your family.

Hi Angie, I came over to your blog from my friend Katie’s blog, Taking the Statistical Bullet. I’m catching up on your story, but I had to share that this video brought me to TEARS, it’s so funny. Your girls are absolutely precious.

Kate reminds me so much of my daughter. (will be 3 in June)… I am reading through all your blogs for the first time, but seeing their sweet little faces and Kate pouring her little heart out just made me melt. I just had to comment here. God bless your family.

From this day forward, you are in my prayers as well as your entire family.

I can not imagine your hurt!

You write beautifully and so deep from with in your heart and that is an amazing gift.

Your husband sings beautifully. I listened to his song and got chills.

    Keep your head up!

I love the way the twins looked at each other like “I have no idea what she is saying”. My daughter is 2.5 and is just like Kate. Loved the hand over the mouth at the end! TOOOOooo cute!
