Oh, how cuuuuute!
I am a member at Asland Avenue Baptist Church in Lexington. It was such a blessing having Saleh and your precious family with us. Please know that you all have friends in Lexington that are praying for you during this time.
Nothing is cuter than a puppy (unless it’s a kitten, a colt, a lamb etc). Your Sawyer will bring your family alot of joy and memories for years and years.Blessings to you! Still praying!
Dear Angie,What a sweet puppy! We got a dog when I was pregnant and he was such a handful….Milo was a beagle/chow mix though and we’ve heard since that they can be quite terrible during training. Needless to say, he ended up at my mother’s farm! Now, he’s older, more calm and fattened up due to my mom giving him table scraps. I don’t feel so bad about giving him up now!I went to a women’s luncheon a few months ago and heard Nancy speak. I also got to eat with her and we talked a lot about life and such. She asked us all to pray for you and Todd and I have been faithful to that. You are both handling this trial with such love and humbleness…..I would hope that I could do even half as well as you in the same situation! We will continue to pray….thank you for this blog so we know what to say!In Christ’s Love,Bethany SpencerMichigan

Ok, seriously…who doesn’t LOVE a golden retriever puppy??? He’s precious and if he hasn’t already worked his way into your heart, he will!! Have fun and as the owner of a golden, crate train him from the beginning! It will make the puppy season much easier…and get a great vacuum…you’re going to need it!

I am new reader of your blog and your journey. I am amazed by your grace and positive perspective. I am inspired by your ability to cling to the Lord during this time.
Your girls are beautiful and that precious doggie will bring you all much joy!
What an adorable puppy! You have a beautiful family.
We recently heard about your blog. Your faith is incredible and an inspiration to all. Please know that you all are in our thoughts and prayers every day!
Will this dog give everyone crazy nicknames like Sawyer on “Lost”?
Seriously, that is fantastic! At Bible study on Monday I mentioned that your blog had said something about a surprise, but I didn’t really know what that meant. THIS is a good surprise…I hope he will help you process!
There’s where Todd’s hair went! – to Sawyer! (just kiddin’ Todd!)
Thanks for sharing! : )carrie lynne from Selah’s Guestbook
Angie,I came to your blog after checking the Selah website to see if there was a new album out. Now two hours later, with prayer and tears, I have read every entry. I am so touched by your posts and attitude through “the rain” and will continue to pray for all of you. Your girls, all of them, are blessed to have you. You remind me of what I have read of Ruth Graham who minded the kids at the home front as Billy reached so many for God. I pray you will continue to feel God’s presence and help in all your days.
Oh, my! I read about your blog on Michelle Malkin’s webpage, someone named RasiedRight recommended it. I opened it up and read through it all, stayed up for a couple of hours two nights ago, going over it and over it. It grabbed my whole heart and I couldn’t keep from going back over it again yesterday. Thank you for thinking of sharing your story as it is happening — it captures the moment unlike trying to rewrite months or years later. I am praying for you, sweet lady, for your precious family, that God will give you strength for each day as it comes and that you will be able to let our dear Savior carry the heavy burden. I feel richer for having read your journey. In the sharing of this, you are being used by God.
I don’t know you and I wish I did. My children are grown and gone, but in Christ age doesn’t matter. We are all drawn by the same Spirit to love, care for, feel the pain of, and rejoice with, and even cry out for, one another, not worrying that our dear Father will somehow think that our prayers aren’t worthy because we don’t know you. Your story, with your joys and pains have become precious to strangers such as me.
I will continue to pray for God to reassure you that He will meet your every need and will satisfy the deepest longings of your heart.
Hi Angie,My name is Melody Wilson. I have been very touched by and ministered to what you have shared about on your blog. I cried through a lot of it as my husband and I have also lost a baby. I heard about your blog last night. My husband I were blessed with free tickets to a Selah concert and your husband shared a bit of what you all are walking through right now. So, this afternoon, I checked out your blog. I am encouraged by your testimony of how you and your family are allowing God to have complete control of your life and the life of your baby. You are surrending it all and allowing God to be, as you said, “Enough.” I am the coordinator of a MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers) group at our church. I was wondering if I could share your story with them this month. Our topic this month is “Stepping Out of the Pit and Into the Sonshine”. We are going to be talking about depression. I long for women to understand the choice they can make to rejoice in everything, to allow God to be God, and to surrender everything to Him. I see in your testimony that you are striving to do this everyday and I would like to share this with them as words of encouragement. There is so much freedom in surrender even when we know the outcome is not always what we desire. It allows us to rest in our Fathers arms, allows Him to wipe away our tears, allows Him to restore us. I would love to hear back from you, though I can imagine how busy you could stay with trying to respond to everyone that leaves a comment. So . . no hard feelings if I don’t hear anything back I wanted to check, though, and make sure it is ok for me to share your story with them. If you would like to contact me, my email is firstname.lastname@example.org. God bless you and your family and you are in my thoughts and prayers!
oh, oh, oh… few things are sweeter than a puppy dog!!!!! so adorable!
Is Sawyer edible??? Simply adorable!!
I stumbled upon your blog today, and I was unable to pull myself away until I had read every word that you have written. Your story has captured and broken my heart, but at the same time, it has made me think differently about life and the Lord. Thank you for being such a blessing in my life.
Oh my goodness, I think that is the cutest puppy I have ever, EVER seen!
Strange how blog jumping can you get you somewhere you’ve never been…
I hopped, skipped and jumped my way through blogspots and landed on your sweet family and have been sucked into reading your story. What really struck me as somewhat crazy is that you had a post called “Sawyer!”…that is my son’s name and I so very rarely see it in print!
Thank you for sharing your story…your faith is truly inspiring and beautiful.
