Sweet Charlotte Girl…

You have my sweet nanny Kelsey to thank for these…is Charlotte not the most delicious baby? I can’t get enough of her sweet face and chunky little legs. So grateful to be her mommy :)  
I am tempted to ask you who you think she looks like BEFORE I post some baby pictures to support my case…thoughts?

I love this girl :)

    I told Kelsey last night (on FB) that I could just eat her!!!!! :) She is SOOOOOOOOO stinkin’ precious!! And for the longest time, she was looking like A and E, but after seeing those pics…I also mentioned how much I’m seeing Kate (minus hair color, of course) . . . . which then means…YOU, too!!!!! :) Either way, she is PRECIOUS!

    Oh, I think those eyes look like Kate’s. I’m so glad you posted pictures of her. I almost forgot she was a redhead! My granddaughter is 6 months and weighs 19 1/2 pounds. Chunky legs are her specialty!

I lost my sweet baby girl, Arlena Rose, when she was just 2 weeks old. I’ve read your book…twice. I still keep referring to it.     I saw Charlotte in the nursery when I was visit Nashville and I could not get over how big she was! I knew it was her right away from the red hair. The last time I saw her was at the church picnic in the summer and then she was so tiny. So happy she is growing healthy and strong! I think she looks like the twins!

    How amazing is our God that He makes it very clear we just cannot deny His presence in every detail of our lives? She is the reason I went –albeit very rarely — to Amy Grant’s church outside of Nashville. Looking back, she is the reason I didn’t lose my Jesus completely in my debaucherous years of college. She was that constant reminder of the God I have known since my childhood, but whom I chose – yes, inexplicably chose – to ignore for oh so long. And now, I have learned that sweet Susanna played an important role in a woman’s life whom I know only by six degrees of separation. How cool is God?

    Hmm… Who does this little punkin’ resemble the most?? The PC answer would be that Charlotte looks like you and Todd both…and she certainly does.

    But. I see so much of Kate in her with those deep dark chocolate eyes. : )

    I also wanted to say I just bought I Will Carry You and have bawled my way through more than half of it already. Even though I’ve followed your blog since Audrey’s birth and know the story you’ve shared here I can’t help but mourn again reading the words of her entrance and exit of this world. As a mother of my own little girls and two babies in Heaven I can’t help but break hearing the story even if I’ve heard it 100 times before.

    My computer has been down so I don’t even know what your new book is going to be about but can’t wait for it. I know you hear it a lot but you are a wonderful storyteller; everything reads so easily and I feel like I’m sitting right there with you. Much love to you!

    Charlotte is a Red Head in the Smith Family. She looks like the girls maybe Kate. It is hard to tell she is almost six months. She also has her indivual too. The last pictures I saw she was not even a month at all!!!!!
