Help Me Out!!! (& A Giveaway!)

Okay, friends.

You ready for some fun?

I talked to Lisa Leonard a few weeks ago about creating a necklace that would have some saying on it that was related to my new book. I’ve thought about it a bunch since then and I can’t decide what I think. So, I figured I would ask all of you!!!

I was thinking “Fear Not,” or “Be not afraid” or something like that, but a few people have suggested different things and I am wondering if you all could tell me what your favorite saying on a necklace would be. You don’t have to pick one of those…I would LOVE to hear your original ideas. It can be a few words from my book, from a favorite quote you have always loved, from Scripture, or anywhere else in your brain.

And because I would love to offer some initiative to leave a comment, I will be giving away FIVE copies of my new book (randomly chosen from the comments section) and a special gift to the person who comes up with the one we use.

So, get cracking!!! And feel free to leave as many as you want…we can use all the ideas you have! I can’t wait!!!!!

Isaiah 43 was such a key passage of scripture for Ryan and I in the past three years. I remember laying in bed some nights just repeating to myself “do not fear, do not fear”. The word picture of passing through the fire and not being burned was so comforting and true. If I were making the necklace for myself, those are the words I would use.

Angie, I’m just so excited for you about this new book. What a blessing this will be to so many.

What about FEAR with a strike through line through it?  or it being X’d out?  That alone, OR a second smaller piece that would almost (but not quite) cover up the strike through of fear.  The smaller piece could say “faith” or “love” that is literally covering fear.
Great idea to create a necklace to go along with the book!  FABULOUS first few pages I got to read today on amazon, looking forward to getting my own copy soon.

In the Message, Isaiah 58:11 says “I will always show you where to go; I will give you a full life in the emptiest of places”. I have clung to that verse since I was widowed, unexpectedly, in March. Trust me, there’s been plenty of fear over these past few months, but I always come back to this verse, and He calms those fears. So my suggestions are:

    full life

    far from fear

I haven’t read the book yet but ordered it so it should be arriving to my house next week! :) So I can’t really comment on quotes from the book, but I do like Fear Not. Short and simple and then maybe you could do a verse on the backside so it could be worn either way. Plus with a verse (such as Isaiah 41:13) then it is more likely that people will ask you about it and then it would open up conversation with others. :)

Such good choices for the necklace!  I like “Be Not Afraid.” Because…He is with us where ever we go. Can’t wait to read the book. Congratulations Angie! Thank you for speaking into our hearts.

  • amykay

well you got me searching through my Bible for this :) I just word searched ‘fear’ and found a passage on Leviticus 26 that talks about people being made fearful BUT if they turned to God, he says ‘I will remember’ them. so that’s what I would want on the necklace! because ‘I will remember’ that God remembers me. to turn to him. all the times before that he has been faithful. all his promises. that with him, I have nothing to fear. even if it’s not on a necklace, I think I have my own new reminder phrase for my heart :) thanks Angie!!

I have been thinking a lot recently about how much fear and insecurity have and/or gain strongholds in my life. My choice of words would be courage, confidence, constancy, and calmness. Either a combination like, Courage&Confidence or just a single word. I just contemplated on the opposite of fear and insecurity and thought that is what I want. I want God’s calm spirit, the confidence that I am His, courage to stand for Him and what I believe in life, and I want His unchanging constancy. That’s where my thoughts went! I would love to win your book! Bless you!

Well, there are a couple of quotes from blog posts of yours that I LOVE, and that are directly related to fear. How big is the necklace? :)
”Thank you Jesus, we are no longer captives” . The thing with this one is that the pic of Ellie “flying” is such an important part of the quote. I still love it….
    My favorite Angie Smith quote:
“It takes a lot of rain to make grass this green”. You mentioned that God whispered that to you in the midst of fearfullness . It would be very appropriate and totally YOURS!

  • Jodi Atkinson

This may be way too long for a necklace, but I have to tell you that when I read this quote in your book (p. 45)…I cried…then I circled it…then I reread it…then I shared it with a friend (teary-eyed)…then I read it again.  :)

“I was worth You dreaming me up.”

    That is precious to me.
    Thank you.

  • Sarah Elliott

I can’t wait to read your book!! I would love to have a necklace that simply said “Be Still” from my favorite verse “Be still and know that I am God” Psalms 46:10 During times of trials when I have been scared and fearfull, that verse has always spoken to me and reminded me that no matter how scared I am about life to Be Still and know that our Father, the Creator of the world  holds our lives in his hands and he will deliver us from whatever we are going through that causes fear to sneak in. Blessings to you Angie and your beautiful family.

The world wants us to remain in our fear & suffer…Leading us to paths & thoughts which God never intended for us.  When we let go of fear, we are continuing our change becoming a new creation…Therefore, we are “Transformed.”  “Do not conform any longer to the patter of this world, but be TRANSFORMED by the renewing of your mind.  Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is.”   Got my book today!  ;o)   It’s my last read before my baby arrives!!!!!  CANNOT READ IT FAST ENOUGH!  Being TRANSFORMED ~ Thank you!!!!!

I haven’t gotten my copy of the book yet; I can’t wait for it get here!  Here are a few ideas without being able to pull from your words in the book:

“worth more than many sparrows” – from Matthew 10:31 (“Do not be afraid, for you are worth more than many sparrows.
“He goes with you.” from Deut 20: 3-4 (“Do not be faint-hearted or afraid, do not be terrified or give way to panic . . ..  For the Lord your God is the one who goes with you to fight for you against your enemies to give you victory.”)

    “When trust reigns, fear fades.”

“Held in the grip of Love.”

    “Free from fear.”

    • AshleyB

And I’m sure someone else has put these, but there are so many comments now to look through.

  • Jen Quirk

Ok so for my entire life I have wrestled with fear – and about 2 months ago I decided I was done. God is big enough to take care of this. Anyway the 2 things I’ve thought about/repeat to myself/pray a lot are the words “perfect peace” from is. 26:3.

I also love the original Greek of Matt.28:20 which reads “with I am you”. Love that the mighty “I AM”
Is squished right between “with you” :) maybe the greek words of that!

I love the idea of a necklace about fear, but I don’t necessarily want the word ‘fear’ on my necklace because I daily want to conquer that with Truth. Some ideas…”for I am with you”…. “for I am your God” which finishes the amazing promise about “do not fear…” and “do not be dismayed….” from Isa 41:10 without the word fear on a beautiful necklace.

I like the word that some others have written – Brave.

My 2.5 year old and I went to the store the other day to pick up a bunch of little items.  He had no idea other than that we were making a treasure box of treats.  But his treasure box is really his “Treasures for Brave Days”.  He has a lot of things asked of him that force him lightyears outside of his comfort zone, and somehow it seemed like a good idea to give him a little something special – a favor so to speak – to let him know that I’m cheering him on as he works to be brave.  A necklace for us to wear on our Brave Days would be cool too.

“I am fearless, He is faithful

  • Mara

Be still, and know that I am God. Psalm 46:10.  I don’t know, I just calm down every time I read those words. It seems like when I am fearing something this scriptures helps, but you may want something more specific toward fear. She should make a bracelet too.  I can read a bracelet throughout the day!!

  • Angela

I like “Peace, Be Still.” I am not a fan of “Fear Not” because that reminds me of those t-shirts that were popular in the secular world years ago. I think they said “No Fear” then the Christian world started making knock-offs that said “Fear Not.” That’s just my two cents, though! :)

  • sazzaro

I like “For I know” from the Jeremiah verse. Can’t wait to read the new book!

  • ann a.

I want to say “cast away”, but I think people would think about Tom Hanks and talking to inanimate objects.  That verse about there being no fear in love b/c perfect love casts away all fear has been super meaningful to me lately (only b/c I just recently absorbed what it means).  I’ve struggled with fear…just simple, tiny fears, and I would think of that verse and be comforted, but also not really know what the heck it could possibly mean, and then I think I heard on the radio that if you trust God (or maybe it just came to me while I was listening to an unrelated sermon on the radio) then it doesn’t matter what happens to you–that you want what he wants to happen to happen.  (Sorry, I’m not as eloquent as Angie Smith…)  So, honestly, I can’t think of a simple phrase to sum it up, but I love that verse, and I would love to read this book.  (Maybe the phrase “cast away” isn’t in any translations in that verse!  But I also love the 1peter verse that says to cast all your cares on him b/c he cares for you)  I also like “He is everything” and love that was God’s word to you that day.

  • Lfrancuck

    What is God afraid of?

If we are spirit filled, we have the mind of Christ, so we need fear nothing as well.

Ain't skeerd is taken, apparently. So maybe No Fear.

I think “Fear Not” is exactly right.

  • Brittany Y.

Your initial ideas got me thinking about the second part of Isaiah 41:10. So, my vote would be “I am your God.” I haven’t had a chance to read your book yet (but I hope to!), but what removes fear better than knowing that He is our God? Such comfort!

  • Dianne

    No need to fear.

Don’t fear.“Be still my soul and trust in God
And place your life into his hands
For he will never fail you
And in the morning you’ll see his face
No need to fear – don’t fear”

  • Jill

One of my favorite verses is from Isaiah 49:16  “See I have engraved you on the palms of my hands”  So I am picturing open palms w/ our names engraved on them and on the back Fear Not!

  • Megan

    “I am a new creation”

    or maybe just “Transformed”

Love giveaways and your blog! :) Thanks so much!

    And happy Friday! ;)

    I am with you.
Isaiah 43:5  “Do not be afraid for I am with you.”  I can hear the words Do no Fear and still be afraid sometimes.  But to really think that He is with me….WOW…that is what melts away fear.

Focus- i choose that because fear occurs when we take our eyes off of Him and place them on ourselves or our circumstances.  If our Focus stays on him, it removes all fear!

I have been reading your blog for yrs and never  commented; but this is a subject matter that has always driver/not driven my life. I can’t wait to read the book.  Will be doing the kindle version for sure.

    2 Tim. 1:9

This is my life verse. Thought about a tatoo but too scared to do it:-) A necklace would be great.

  • Sswells4

wrong verse I always like to read thru 9.  forgot to change b4 i posted. should be 2 Tim. 1:7!!

I like the simple but powerful message in the word “fearless.”  Hard to convey the same thing in a different way; it captures a lot of feelings, emotions, and thoughts in one word!

I have nothing original to add that hasn’t already been said.  When I first read the challenge, I thought that “No Fear”  would be appropriate.  There are so many though that would work wonderfully.  I like the idea of sharing this truth in jewelry.

My suggestion comes from the wrong book… only because I bought Emily’s book on a whim yesterday at Lifeway while I’ve had yours (all 16… but really, 4) ordered for weeks now and am waiting for them to come in the mail.

I just need you to know it’s not because I don’t have great anticipation and love already for *your* book. ;)

ANYWAY. Emily said something in her introduction that I think is also central to your message about freedom  from fear– “Fear drives. Love leads.”

For a necklace, I suggest “Love leads.”

I also really love “be not afraid.”

Truly,  be not afraid , speaks to me.  I’ve said “hello fear” more times than I care to these past few months, but then its taken me deeper into the bible and the message I read and hear repeatedly, is “be not afraid” and “fear not.”  So looking forward to reading your book!

  • Laura82ann

I truly believe that we can learn so much from our fears. We evolve as we grow and age and so does fear. The emotion is neither right nor wrong. We have to pull it from the depths of our souls and take control of it. Use it productively and to our advantage. We cannot allow it to take hold of us. I read somewhere that fear can stand for, False Evidence Appearing Real. There are no guarantees or 100% certainty that a certain event or situation will really happen. So while it may appear so, there is no real reason to fear anything. Even if it seems it will indefinitely happen. Through prayer and faith, anything can happen. Especially when miracles happen everyday. Hopefully I gave some kind of idea for you, Angie. There are already a lot of great ideas posted. I sent you an email not to long ago. Not sure if you remember but I would really love to have the chance to have your new book. It would do a great work for me where I stand in my life right now. Thank you for the chance to earn it. God bless.

P.S. - I pre-ordered my copy of your new book and it’s supposed to arrive today from amazon AND I’m sooo looking forward to seeing you at WOF in Hartford, CT this year. You are right up there with Beth Moore in my book and I am so excited to hear you speak!! Been a longtime blog follower. My son was diagnosed with leukemia the same day you met and lost your sweet angel. He was 11 weeks old at the time, but a walking miracle today. I miscarried one year ago, and named her “baby faith”. I bet she and your little angel are keeping each other company as they wait for their earthly families to join them.

Peace I leave with you, my friends. (from John 14:27)

It is also from a song that is sometimes sung as part of the Mass. It is one of my favorite calming verses.

    • Jenniewalk

Ooh! That’s a beautiful verse and song. I love the idea of the jewelry’s statement being positive (and attacking the problem of fear from the opposite side) – reminding us of the peace that comes from God alone, that surpasses anything the world is capable of offering.

      (Stealing ideas from the song…)
      My peace I give
A peace the world cannot understand
A peace the world cannot give
My peace I give to you, my love I give to you, my joy I give to you

2 Cor. 12:9 – My grace is sufficient or, simply, ‘grace sufficient for you’

and, in that vein – ‘fall on Jesus and live’

    • Miranda

Sorry, I just saw that someone had already written this. I didn’t read the comments before!

  • Debra Irene

My antidote for fear is faith (see my ring of faith story), and it sounds like this is the basis of your book.  Scrolling down through the comments, I see several similar to my suggestion but not exactly. I like the three “Fs”:

    “Faith For Fear”

  • Corimallott

I personally take comfort in the words Jesus told me:  ”I will never leave you”…that always brings me hope.  But my default that I go to in the middle of the night when fear is threatening to swallow me is: “When I am afraid I will trust in You”.  I say that over and over in my mind until the unreasonable (or even very real) fear subside and my heart calms down again.  If I had a little charm that I could touch that would would say to my mind what my heart already knows, that would be beautiful.

  • sazzaro

Have you ever seen the Bod Newhart therapy skit from Mad T.V. where he is a therapist and he only charges five dollars but he will only do five minutes of therapy. All he says is “STOP IT!” when someone tells them what they are afraid of. It’s funny but so true. Although I am not sure if many people would buy a necklace with “Stop it!” on it:) It could be pretty helpful though!

  • Ally

When I hear the word Fear. I think of the verse in 1 John 4:18 that says Perfect love casts out all fear. The opposite of fear is love, truth, GOD. I think the necklace should say: Perfect Love

I have always been comforted by the saying “Sometimes God calms the storm, Sometimes He lets the storm rage and calms His child.” How about on one side, “He calm storms” and on the bottom or other side, “He calms His child”  I can’t wait to read the new book.

    1. “fear not” ~ printed inside a butterfly on the front (or the necklace silver piece could be in the shape of butterfly wings) ~ “be tranformed” printed on the back of the butterfly
    2. “fear not” ~ printed on a cross on the front east to west ~ on the back “be transformed” printed north and south on the cross..

Actually, I really like both ideas – the cross could maybe be quite large in size. Would probably have to be to have those words printed on it.

  • Kristen

Fearfully Made… It’s taking on a whole new meaning as I read…Thanks for being so good at what you do…I am trully blessed!

  • Michele Samuelson

I really liked Karen M’s suggestion of “carried.”  ”Still dancing” is great, too.

  • Debra Irene

Now that I’ve taken time to look at the jewelry link, I see that it’s possible to put more than one phrase.  So if you go with two, I would have to go with:

“Faith for Fear, One Day at a Time”

So many different ways you go.  I’m sure that Lisa Leonard will be very creative.

  • Dionna

Well, I’d love a necklace on the subject of fear since it’s one that satan seems to try to win in my life – try as hard as I can to fight him. How about something like, “Faith over fear” or “He will fight for me” or “Be still my heart” (as in being still and God will fight for us.)

You’re going to think that I’m totally sucking up, but one of my all-time, favorite Christmas songs is “Joy” by Selah, which you co-wrote with Todd & Nicol.  There’s a line in there that goes “Hope has been restored” which would be FABULOUS on a necklace!
P.S. I’m not sucking up, I just LOVE that song!

  • Danelle

When I think of fear, I am reminded of 2 Timothy 1:7 “For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.” This has become my life verse. I know that is too long to put on a necklace, but maybe just the reference 2 Timothy 1:7 would be appropriate on one side, and then “Fear Not” on the other.  -Danelle

I have not read your book, although I would love to get my hands on a copy! :) When I think of fear I always go back to Beth Moore’s study of Esther (MY FAV!) In Esther 4:16, Esther speaks about going to the king and she says “if I perish, I perish.” Beth interprets that to say if  (insert biggest fear here), then God. It is a constant reminder that even in the worst possible situation, God is faithful to take care of it. So my suggestion would be a necklace that says if (leave a space blank), then God

Congrats on the amazing success of your book!

    • Emily M

Angie, I just read your “Release” post and thought your words of “He is everything” would make a nice quote as well. Maybe Lisa needs to come out with a faith line of necklaces using all the wonderful suggestions on this post! :)

After reading your blog since you were pregnant with Audrey I have grown and learned so much because of your writings. May this book be a blessing to so many!! Love to your family.

I posted my suggestion on here lastnite, “unfailing love, unfailing faith” and I’ve been thinking this would be really neat with a RAINBOW!

I too liked your post about the rain when you were in Ireland. I cried as I read it because my son’s room is Noah’s Ark. This has been significant for me because it is a constant reminder of His love and His faithfulness. Once you have those two things, faith is sure to follow and fear doesn’t stand a chance :)

Can’t wait to read your book!!!  So bummed about the backlog with Amazon… :-/

    • Kayse Pratt

i just finished my quiet time this morning and ended with a great devotion on how we are free in Christ, which made me think about this again and how freedom cancels out fear.  so what about “set free”?

  • Kristie

Ok, here is my best one…
    Praise Him.
Because it is impossible to feel fear while praising the Lord for the blessings He has given.

I like the “Fear Not” which get directly at the book title…

  • Andrea A

…but here’s another thought, too: “I am with you” (which is what God usually says before or after He’s told the person not to fear). I love the comfort in those words. :)

  • Jill Sloothaak

“Do Likewise”….from the parable of the Good Samaritan.  It’s become the motto for my life and reminds me to love people the way Jesus would!

What Women Need to Fear: God      And He takes care of the rest

There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear 1 John 4:18

(I think there needs to be an emphasis that we do not overcome fear on our own, but it is by God.  We fool ourselves when we think we can do it on our own.  That is my personal experience.  And this is coming from a women who has feared everything!  I’ve suffered from anxiety/panic attacks most of my adult life.  Loved reading everyone’s suggestions.  There are so many good ones!  Good luck choosing!)

  • Janel Varner

Maybe “Cast all your anxiety on Him” one one side and “because he cares for you. 1 Peter 5:7″  on another?  Kinda long, but maybe some form of this?
I like that verse because it reminds us to take our anxieties and fears to Him and tells us why we should–because He cares for us.  It gives us something to “do” (as we so often want–some way to fix what’s going on) when we feel afraid and reminds us that He cares about what we are going through.

  • Christine Maglinger

I personally like “Freed Indeed”… because Christ frees ys from those fears which the devil tries to constantly drag us down with , but the Lord helps us overcome them.

Absolutely loving every word of your book.  Thanks so much for sharing your heart.
As far as suggestions for jewelry, one of my favorite Scriptures referring to “fear not” is Isaiah 41:10, but also loved this which symbolizes the actual ‘release date’.

    Psalm 9:1 NIV
I will praise you, O LORD, with all my heart; I will tell of all your wonders.

Thank you, thank you, thank you and may you be blessed, as you have blessed me beyond words with your beautiful writing.

Wouldn’t let me post a new comment, so I’m going to try replying to one……..

you have like a billion comments so this may not be a new idea……I like mixing the two words “fear” and “faith” with fear being in a small font and faith being in a bold and strong font.  Because fear always seems to be lurking, but faith is always bigger and stronger……..something like this……….

I really like ” . Be Still, Know I am God”.  It may be too long.  But, it is the verse I say to myself whenever I am feeling fearful of what is happening in my life.  It always calms my thinking and makes me know that God is in control in all that we do and our lives on this Earth and beyond.  God Bless, Jennifer

I like most the suggestions that take a more positive spin on the wording than the ones that use ‘negative’ words (though the message is to still try to encourage)…. I find using affirming words automatically conjur up most positive encouragements…  One of my favorites of the suggestions I read include the symbol of a rainbow and text of rain dancer…

  • Latishavanderzon

I sent my suggestion in an email, then I saw that you wanted them in the comments. I explain why in the email, but I think that you should use the words “She’s Fearless” or “Fearless.” There are lots of good ideas here, though.

Today our sermon was summed up in a few words… and I thought, wow, that would make a great necklace piece too. so I thought I would add it to my earlier ones.

I like Fearless but all I can think about when I hear it or see it is Taylor Swift.  I would probably wear the necklace but I feel like where I come from all people would think of when they see it would be Taylor Swift and I wouldn’t really get a chance to use it as a conversational tool.

    Be Still My Soul

  • Melodee Scofield

“It Is Well” as in “It is well with my soul,” one of my most favorite hymns.

I’m pretty sure you couldn’t fit, “Great Is Thy Faithfulness,” but how about “Faithfulness.”

    “Blessed Assurance”

    “At Last,” as in:

Be still, my soul; the hour is hastening on
When we shall be forever with the Lord,When disappointment, grief, and fear are gone,Sorrow forgot, love’s purest joys restored.Be still, my soul; when change and tears are past,All safe and blessed we shall meet at last.

  • Melodee Scofield

I’m listening to the hymn, We Rest On Thee (Our Shield and Our Defender), which is also to the tune of Finlandia.  (It’s the hymn the 5 missionaries sang before their trip in to meet the Auca tribes in the late 1950′s.)

Anyway . . . “Rest” or “Rest in Him.”

  • Kim W

    My suggestions are:

The Lord is the stronghold of my life (Psalm 27:1)

My peace I give you (John 14:27)

Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace (Isaiah 26:3) -(This one is my favorite verse. My pastor recommended to me when I was having trouble with some fears.)

    “I will trust”

From my experience, I cannot be “fearless” until I trust….

Trust God to be who He says He is.

Trust that His Word is true.

Trust that He will do what He says He will do.

I can’t be strong and courageous until I trust that He is with me always.

My courage is directly related to my trust in Him.

“When I am afraid, I will trust in you.” Psalm 53:3

“In God I trust; I will not be afraid.” Psalm 56:11Maybe, “I will trust …. and be fearless.”

“The Lord will hear when I call to Him.”  Psalms 4:3
My daughter prayed, believing with all of her heart that God would send her a baby brother.  We were told it was physically impossible for us to conceive without intervention, so you can imagine our shock when I was told 6 weeks later that I was pregnant.  At 28 weeks, we were told that our son had some health concerns.  Emma brought home this verse from her Sunday School lesson and we framed it in Jack’s nursery.  Our Maker heard us as we cried out to Him in the days before his arrival and following his birth.  Jack had a rocky start and has had 2 surgeries, but over and over again, we hastened to His throne and found assurance in knowing He heard each plea.  Jack will face more obstacles down the road, but we have claimed this verse as a reminder that we have an open invitation to a conversation with our sweet Jesus whenever we whisper His precious name.   It all started with the simple promise above…He hears us.  He knows our name.  He knows our every thought.  I’m in awe of that!
Lots of love to you and the ministry He has perfectly orchestrated!
    Holly Knowlton

  • Eileen

I didn’t see this one, how about Faith over fear (like an algebra division)  would look really cool on one of those silver disc charms, just sayin. :)

I can’t wait to get your book in the mail. I checked today and it was in NJ on it’s way to me in SC!! Hopefully I’ll have it by the weekend. Yay!! As far as the necklace ideas go…what about “unafraid” or “live unafraid”. Or maybe “Be thou not afraid”. Ha..j/k.
“Be not afraid” would work. “Fearless heart” or “He casts out Fear. Ok i’ll stop now. I know whatever y’all decide will be great.

My favorite verse, the one I turn to when I feel fear creeping in, is Jeremiah 29:11.  “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”  What is there to fear when you are living God’s plan?  I’m not sure how to translate that to something concise enough for a necklace.  Maybe just, “His Plan.”  Or “Living His Plan”. Or “Live His Plan”.  Or “He Knows”.  You could even put “Jeremiah 29:11″ on there too.

Then there’s always the old “Let Go & Let God”, which seems a little overused, so how about just “Let Go”?

Oh or “Faithfully Fearless”!  Or “Fearlessly Faithful”.  Or “Fearlessly Faithfully Following” (I”m picturing one big F with the words coming from it).

After reading it, your words of replacing fear with faith stuck with me, becuase it’s something iI conciously have to do. So I think using that somehow would be cool…fear with faith (altho you don’t want it to sound like you have fear WITH faith!), faith instead of fear, faith over fear…

I do not know if you have decided yet, but I was thinking, “He’s still workin’ on me.” A song I sung as a young child, it makes me remember that I am my own unique person, that my family is my own unique family. It makes me think about Psalm 139. Only God knows me intimately, for He created me, and He is guiding me as a wife and mother.

    Many blessings!

Was away from blogs for a week while on vacation so I’m only seeing this now…not sure if you picked one or not, but here’s my two cents:

    “Strong and Courageous” Deuteronomy 31:6
    “Fearless Love” 1 John 4:18
    “Life Unafraid” Joshua 1:9

I also really like Fear Not :)

  • Sfancher3

    a few more ideas…

    “For Me He Careth”

    “Under His Wings”

“Whispering Hope” (I imagine a tree with this inscription around it)

    “With One Accord”

    “In His Time”

I don’t know if any of these are what you are looking for, but I hope they help point you in the right direction! Good Luck!

  • LB

Just as few quick thoughts. When I am fearful, stressed, anxious etc I always think of it as weighing on my heart. So going with the idea that faith should replace fear. I think of carrying faith in your heart instead of fear or anxiety.

    No Fear in my Heart.
    Only Faith in my Heart.
    With Faith in my Heart.
Carry your Faith in your Heart.
Only room for Faith and Love.

You could also have an image of a heart or an outline of a heart with the words Faith or Faith and Love inside of the heart. To imply that there is only room for Faith or Faith and Love in one’s heart.

    Anyway I hope this helps.

  • Laura D.
